How long is the Road to Hāna day?+
The Road to Hāna is a full-day experience. Most guests can expect approximately 7–9 hours from pickup to return, depending on traffic, weather, road conditions, and the pace of the day.
How many guests are on each tour?+
Our Road to Hāna tours are limited to 14 guests, keeping the group small enough for a more personal and comfortable experience.
Do you pick up from hotels?+
Yes. We offer pickup from select hotels, resorts, and accommodations on Maui. Your exact pickup location and time will be confirmed before your experience.
What kind of vehicle will we travel in?+
Guests travel in a comfortable, commercially insured, high-roof Ford Transit passenger van with large viewing windows, high ceilings, and full air conditioning.
What if I am prone to car sickness?+
The Road to Hāna has more than 600 curves and 59 bridges. Our smooth driving and regular stops make a difference, but motion-sensitive guests should consider non-drowsy motion sickness medication before pickup.
Do we stop along the Road to Hāna?+
Yes. Stops are planned throughout the journey for scenery, photos, short walks, food, and time to stretch. Exact stops may vary with weather, road conditions, and the day.
Are park permits and entry fees included?+
Yes. Required state park reservations and entry fees, including Waiʻānapanapa when part of the day, are handled for you.
